This year the Marian Pilgrimage was cancelled to the public due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In line with the Government and Eparchial restrictions, the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate honoured the day by having a private mini-pilgrimage.

Reverend Yuriy Tykhyy and his Dobrodijka Marijka came from Toronto to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the Sisters home Chapel. After the Divine Liturgy, we processed to the “Ancaster Mother of God Shrine” while reciting the Rosary.

We completed the Rosary at the Shrine and then processed to the Pilgrimage Altar site singing Marian hymns and there we celebrated the Moleben to the Mother of God. After this, we sang in procession to the cemetery where we celebrated Panakhyda for all deceased Sisters, Clergy, Volunteers, UCWLC, BYK, K of C, Youth, and all Marian Pilgrimage participants of the past 73 years.

We concluded our mini-pilgrimage with a family-style picnic on the grounds.

The weather was beautiful as Our Blessed Mother continued to hold Mount Mary and the Sisters in her mantle of protection.
