SSMI of Yorkton Receive Appreciation Award

On November 3, our Provincial Superior, Sister Patricia Lacey, and Sister Suzanne Kokuruds drove to Regina from Yorkton as guests of Christ the Teacher RCSSD No. 212 School Board to attend the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association’s 31st Annual Meritorious Service Award Banquet at the Joint Convention of the SCSBA and the Catholic Health Association of Saskatchewan held at Regina Inn. The 2012 SCSBA Appreciation Award was presented to them by Tom Fortosky, President of SCSBA, in recognition of the commitment and contribution of the SSMI to Catholic Education in Saskatchewan. Our community was nominated by the Christ the Teacher School Board and introduced at the banquet by school trustee, Doreen Rathgeber.
