The Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate

Words of Gratitude at the Jubilee Celebration, June 9, 2013

As delivered by Sr. Nathanael Preyma, SSMI, Jubilarian

Слава Ісусу Христу!

What a joy I have today to see so many of my family and friends celebrating with me. I thank God that each of you is part of my life. I want to thank Metropolitan Lawrence and all my brother Priests and Sisters who prayed with me today.

When I think to myself that I have been a Sister Servant for 75 years, I wonder how come the time has gone by so fast. I am so grateful to Jesus who has asked me to follow him by being a Sister. He has been so faithful in giving me the strength to serve our Church.

There are so many wonderful memories of people who have touched my life. I think of the many parishes, cities, towns and villages, the many children and catechism classes, the many vestments sewn, the many funerals I have attended, the many visits that these feet have walked. Today I am so grateful to God that I can even come to my celebration, and that I can talk with, hear and see each one of you. Thank you so much for coming.

I want you to know that I love you and pray for you. I pray you all know how much Jesus loves and cares for you and how precious you are to me and to God.

Слава Ісусу Христу!
